Hi! I'm working on a project in which I need to develop an installer able to install Internet/intranet servers. I want to do it compiling FreeBSD binaries and, the program, only have to copy these on the new system. The problem is with some packages like "vpopmail" which needs to use a UID from the user you create for it (vpopmail and vchkpw in this case), I mean the binary have the UID inside so you should have the vpopmail user with the same UID in the new system. I do not want to force a UID on a new system, so I ask for any help on how to solve it. Thanks in advance. -- Jesús Arnáiz 0z0ne Inc I+D/IT Manager http://www.0z0ne.com mailto:jesus@0z0ne.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
