I don't see how it points out a problem in the project. The software didn't keep pace with the development of the system, and the multiple video consoles got in the way of progress. pcvt illustrates a problem that we've had in the project where we have too many identical ways of doing the same thing. Sometimes this diversity is good, other times it gets in the way of project making progres. To properly manage the project, we have to make sure that there's a balance between these two extremes. When the multiple ways allow innovation, it is a good thing. When multiple ways are getting in the way, somthing has to give... Warner
