I read this in the commit log and my first thought was that it would help a lot of people if there was an extra entry in UPDATING mentioning the explicit need of the 'installkernel, reboot, installworld' order of the official procedure. A lot of people do not read the commits, but do follow UPDATING. BTW: The content of the commit is great work and I'm sure it will benefit future of FreeBSD! Cheers, Ronald.
