Well, it's been a very frustrating weekend. I have tried to install FreeBSD from Greg's book and have been extremely unsuccessful. This makes the 6th time that I have tried and failed. This time I got as far as making the root password. Once I did that I was kicked back to the " /stand/sysinstall Main Menu". Thinking this must mean I was done I removed the boot floppy and the CD and rebooted. I was greeted with "boot error". I am extremely tired of anything FreeBSD at the moment ! I love my Apple Powerbook G3 even more now, James To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
