Uh..  The obvious? :-)

Just select both disks in the fdisk editor, don't touch the first one
except to install a boot manager (as is necessary due to PC BIOS
limitations) and install your FreeBSD partition on the second.  Label
and install normally.  This is also covered in the install docs.. :-)
