Kernel config as taken from GENERIC with ALTQ, pf, PREEMPTION, SMP added, several drivers
commented out (not in use).

In FreeBSD 5.3-BETA7 (cvsupdated today, 15th Oct 2004 and buildworl/kernl) after a
while of playing sounds via a freshly installed x11amp/esound environment from ports
sound crashes with:
pcm0:play:0: play interrupt timeout, channel dead
This happens also with HZ=100 (the default) or any value higher than HZ=100 (I prefer
HZ=1000 or 1500).
