It may be silly, but the maintainers are having difficulty replicating
our difficulties. I have a VIA 686B and a late-model IBM IDE drive that
hasn't worked with tagged (traps during boot) since the code was
modified in 4.5-STABLE a few moons ago.
My system sadly doesn't give Soren a chance to play with it, but I would
be happy to cooperate in every possible way.
