Has anyone tried to use a vim 5.3 BUILT on 3.0-RELEASE?  I'm not referring
to the package, but the port.  I can't get gvim to work in either Athena
or Motif gui mode.  It launches, then just freezes.  I've tried removing
my .vimrc file, but no joy.  It works nicely under 2.2.7.  Could this be
an X lib problem?
