I went out and bought a
vendor = 'Creative Labs'
device = 'CA0106-DAT Audigy LS'
just to find out it's not supported (yes, I should have checked before).
Now please, before I spend a fortune to find out what does work, does
anyone have positive results from any of the following:
Creative SB Audigy4
Creative SB X-Fi XtremeMusic
E-MU 1212M
M-Audio Revolution 7.1 PCI
with the stock 6-STABLE set drivers? I only need normal analog audio
in/out, not the fancy stuff they can do.
