Just wanted to send a heads-up that Intel's Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK) for high speed packet processing was added to the FreeBSD ports collection last week under net/dpdk. Intel added support for FreeBSD earlier this year, but until now required downloading from Intel's website or dpdk.org. Thanks to Bruce Richardson from the Intel DPDK team and vanilla@ and gnn@ for getting it checked into ports. For any questions, please check out dpdk.org and the developer mailing list (dev@dpdk.org). Regards, -Jim
