Ah, that might explain the issue I'm having.

My arm platform is a dreamplug; as such there are some custom files I'm 
using which allow it to boot. Do you know offhand what would need to 
happen to get 9.1-STABLE to build via clang? I'm willing to patch 
whatever is necessary. ;)

Alternatively, is there support for using a more modern gcc (e.g 4.8)?
