OK. I could see that ... that *only* counter-point I can muster to that is my
experience with Ebola '98 and all other Ebola-related products for the past N
years that I've had to install. Whether or not I consider myself an Ebola
expert or not, I *always* choose "Custom" install options to things like
SmartSuite, Office, graphics stuff, games, etc. Why? Because 9 out of 10 times
(in my experience) their "typical" installs don't install components I
need/want and I don't want the "install everything" option wasting 100 Gb per
application because they install turds I'll never use. I choose the "custom"
version so I know exactly the bits and pieces I'm installing.

So, I guess when I say "new" users, I'm thinking of new users who might be
coming from the Windows world and have grown accustomed to doing "custom
install" for everything as I've found myself doing. In that event, I, if I
were a "new" user, would be inclined to choose something that says "custom"
out of sheer force of habit.

Yes ... we are out-of-phase w.r.t. e-mails coming in ...

Thanks,
