Would anyone who has walked the path from XFree86-3.3.6 with multiple port dependencies (including Gnome and/or KDE) to 4.2.x with the same dependencies please share their experiences. I expect that portupgrade will handle the bulk of the work with some varitation of.. # portupgrade -NrRsv XFree86 # portupgrade -fr XFree86 -x '>=XFree86' What should those two really be, what are the pitfalls the less than obvious considerations one should make before embarking on the journey? -Andrew- -- _______________________________________________________________________ | -Andrew J.
