The only minor nit is that -BETA and -RC don't exist as CVS tags, they are just changes to the REVISION and BRANCH variables in /sys/conf/newvers.sh Once the release engineer is satisfied that a release candidate is suitable for release, he will change the BRANCH name in /sys/conf/newvers.sh to "RELEASE" and apply the appropriate CVS tag.
