Ok. Give me your boot logs with/without ECP enabled by bios.

ECP with DMA and interrupts. But ZIP supports only EPP.

You have to set flags for mode selection. Try 1, 5, 9 and 13
which are NIBBLE, EPP/NIBBLE, ECP/NIBBLE, ECP/EPP/NIBBLE and give me the
boot logs. Did you have this "phenomen" before Aug 21 update? Was your
chipset detected as Winbond before?
