Works fine for me on my Dell Inspiron 8100. Did you follow all the
install instructions? Here is my relevant section from XF86Config:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Card0"
VendorName "nvidia"
Driver "nvidia"
VideoRam 32768 #XYZ dubious?
Option "NvAgp" "3"
EndSection
I have the agp kernel module loaded as well.
agp0: <Intel Generic host to PCI bridge> mem 0xe8000000-0xebffffff at
device 0.0 on pci0
nvidia0: <GeForce2 Go> mem 0xe0000000-0xe7ffffff,0xfc000000-0xfcffffff
irq 11 at device 0.0 on pci1
