Hi,
I just want to report that my LinkMates LM 336 PCMCIA card seems to work
jolly well with pccardd in FreeBSD 4.0-20000214-CURRENT, with this
configuration (feel free to use/include it):
# LinkMates LM 336 LAN Fax/Modem PC Card
card "PCMCIAs" "ComboCard"
config 0x24 "ed1" ? 0x10
insert logger -t pccard:$device -s LinkMates LM 336 inserted
insert /etc/pccard_ether $device
remove logger -t pccard:$device -s LinkMates LM 336 removed
remove /sbin/ifconfig $device delete
It reports like this:
Feb 19 16:52:21 lappy /kernel: ed1 at port 0x300-0x31f irq 3 slot 1 on
pccard1
Feb 19 16:52:21 lappy /kernel: ed1: address 00:e0:98:01:f3:dc, type NE2000
(16 b
it)
Feb 19 16:52:21 lappy pccard:ed1: LinkMates LM 336 inserted
Seems to be a NE2000 compatible card, yes. I can insert/eject the card as
I want, and it always works. I don't read the lists I post to here, so
please send any feedback directly.
Cheers.
