i'm trying to install FreeBSD 5.4-RC3 from a dos partition, it seems to detect it corrrectly but i get this error:
Unable to transfer the base distribution from ad1s2
Do you want to try to retrieve it again?
i extracted the disc1 iso to \FREEBSD directory on ad1s2. it worked perfectly fine in 5.3, and iirc, 5.4-RC1. this problem started from 5.4-RC2
