Hi, you are thinking about that right. ;-)
I had \. appended to it in some of my tests. That was a little weird for the
go-devel case.

go-devel:
make -V PORTSCOUT
limit:^g20240208\.

If this isn't a problem I can commit the \. appending today.
Looking at the date in the version in go-devel, it might not have been updated
for a long time. And probably isn't followed by the portscout system anyway.
