Syscons apparently uses the "standard" fonts available in the
display adapter as defaults. There doesn't seem to be a provision
to "dump" the font settings in effect at any given time (i.e. an
analog to the -d vidcontrol option). So, if you change any/all of
the fonts in use, how can you restore the original font set? A
vidcontrol hook to allow dumping the fonts would allow you to manually
reload them (e.g., from a temporary file into which they were dumped).
Or, a switch which reloads the default fonts (e.g., an analog to the
-L vidcontrol switch).
