By this I mean something similar to Cisco's policy based routing. Want the ability to say that traffic from this IP or this interface should prefer this route, traffic from elsewhere should prefer this other route, etc. This does grow more difficult in that I need to import these routes from BGP with gated; right now there is a strict seperation between gated, which gets routes and picks which ones to use when there are multiple choices, and the kernel which simply routes what is there. Anyone doing any work on something like this? No, it isn't a trivial thing to do.
