I tried to install the doom port on FBSD 2.2.2 - RELEASE and got the following message: # make reinstall >> Checksum OK for linux-doom-1.8.tar.gz. >> Checksum OK for musserver.tgz. >> Checksum OK for smooth-joystick4doom.tgz. ===> Building for doom-1.8 ===> joystick4doom gcc -DX11 -O2 -I/usr/X11R6/include -DJOYSTICK_DAT=\"/usr/local/lib/joystick.dat\" -s joystick4doom.c -o joystick4xdoom -L/usr/X11R6/lib -lX11 joystick4doom.c:32: X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory joystick4doom.c:33: X11/Xutil.h: No such file or directory joystick4doom.c:34: X11/Xos.h: No such file or directory joystick4doom.c:35: X11/Intrinsic.h: No such file or directory joystick4doom.c:36: X11/keysymdef.h: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. I have the linux emulator in but not sure it is working correctly. I also set the Linux = "YES" in the /etc/rc.conf file. What do I need to do. I do not want to use the joystick. I have the X-USER installation of FBSD 2.2.2-RELEASE.
