>From my recent studies of the alpha architecture i have come to the following conclusions and would appreciate it if any of you could confirm what i understand or correct me where i am wrong. the alpha port won't boot using the nt flash bios. the digital unix flash bios won't boot from an ide drive. other than that I should have no problems with a 21264A on a 164LX motherboard I understand the alpha port is definately a work in progress. but any suggestions on a system based on the above chip and board would be appreciated. thanks.
