Please remove it. I really do not see the point in adding a plain text password. If you don't want people to be able to access the boot loader, disable the key press interrupting and use a boot floppy with a password protected BIOS for if you need to access the machine at that stage. These Microsoft-esque 'security' features are featurism that we can do without. Second, 'it's small, therefore why not' is a fake argument in a boot loader. Just my 20 Lire worth...
