Hi,

I am looking for an external firewire/USB drive >= 200 GB to go with
FreeBSD-4.8.  

I was looking at Maxtor 5000xt, but it appears it causes kernel panics
when connected to the USB port as reported in PR kern/48849.  Does
anyone know if that drive will work through the firewire port?

Any other suggestions for an external USB/firewire >= 200 GB highly
appreciated.
