Well, I've been tracking both -STABLE & -CURRENT daily for several weeks
on my laptop now.... And granted, I usually tend to use "reboot"
(sometimes augmented by "boot0cfg -s ?" to select a different slice
ahead of time).

So I just tried "sudo shutdown now" on the box while it was running
today's 4.3-STABLE (CVSupped between 0347 - 0352 hrs. PDT, from cvsup14).

No problem here....

Cheers,
david
