The hang that I experienced yesterday, where I could "ping localhost",
but not ping to/from other machines, hasn't recurred since I switched
from a DEC Tulip to a 3C901 net card.
I have worked the net card a lot more to-day than I did before it got
hung yesterday, so I would suspect the Tulip driver ("de").
