https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=285168 Bug ID: 285168 Summary: ULE scheduler starving processes Product: Base System Version: 14.2-RELEASE Hardware: amd64 OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: kern Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: jjantura@gmail.com I'm running gitlab runner building some software and then launching test suite. Test suite is based on Python and time-constrained. Every single test execution is limited to 300s. Test results are not consistent - from time to time few tests are timed out (some of them are in 'pipdwt' state). I suspect ULE scheduler starving them. Hardware spec: 2x Xeon X5690 (maybe too old) + 72GB ECC DDR3. No meaningful errors in visible dmesg. Suite utilizing all 24 threads (HT). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.home | help
