I am using a Hauppage (I think 350) on RELENG_6 with pretty good results. I get the occasional "cxm0: missing encoder EOS" when trying to record, but a unload/load of the kld seems to fix it. I want to upgrade my machine at home to CURRENT in the next few days and was wondering if anyone else is using this card in HEAD ? Is it as stable as it is in STABLE ? dmesg below Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: <Conexant iTVC15 MPEG Coder> mem 0xf8000000-0xfbffffff irq 21 at device 1.0 on pci3 Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm_iic0: <Conexant iTVC15 / iTVC16 I2C controller> on cxm0 Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: iicbb0: <I2C bit-banging driver> on cxm_iic0 Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: iicbus0: <Philips I2C bus> on iicbb0 master-only Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: Philips FM1236 tuner Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: SAA7115 rev 1 video decoder Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: MSP4448G-A2 audio decoder Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: IR Remote Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: [GIANT-LOCKED] Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: encoder firmware version 0x2050032 Jun 11 10:25:48 cage kernel: cxm0: decoder firmware version 0x2020023 ---Mike -------------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Tancsa, tel +1 519 651 3400 Sentex Communications, mike@sentex.net Providing Internet since 1994 www.sentex.net Cambridge, Ontario Canada www.sentex.net/mike
