OK; I applied the patch & rebuilt today's CURRENT kernel: h252(7.0-C)[2] uname -a FreeBSD h252.dhw.mail-abuse.org. 7.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 7.0-CURRENT #364: Thu = Mar 22 11:30:28 PDT 2007 root@h252.dhw.mail-abuse.org.:/common/S4/obj/u= sr/src/sys/LAPTOP_30W i386 h252(7.0-C)[3]=20 But my wi(4) miniPCI card is still not probed, and ifconfig fails to report its existence. Also, trying the PC cards I did before (wi(4) and an(4)), I still get the same results (failure to activate because the card is seen as not having any functions).
