I'm using Windowmaker. Changing the owner and mode of /dev/console to me and 0666 wasn't necessary in 4.X and doesn't help in 5.3. It looks as though the TIOCCONS ioctl was changed significantly between 4.10 and 5.3. >How-To-Repeat: Run xterm -C from inside a window manager.
