It is a known issue (see also bin/162588). Disabling compression by using -Z option may be useful to avoid the SIGBUS. FYI, I extracted a cvsupd binary from a cvsupd package compiled for i386 systems and using it on my amd64 machine. It is working well even if the compression is enabled. -- Hiroki ----Security_Multipart(Tue_Jun_19_02_16_46_2012_039)-- Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (FreeBSD) iEYEABECAAYFAk/fYn4ACgkQTyzT2CeTzy2CrQCeLtGCYLS/Sj/OOZHaG3wUASdR GlYAn3Kaotwdq8u9xZsx3L2yv7Axk3Gx =OpGh -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ----Security_Multipart(Tue_Jun_19_02_16_46_2012_039)----
