Well, if you want to enable this periodic script, you have to add this
line to /etc/periodic.conf:
daily_clean_disks_enable="YES"
you can also add at the same time in this file:
daily_clean_disks_files=whatever you want

This logic is not weird and it does not apply to all ports.
