We moved some of our stuff to GNU a couple of years ago and it's worked great. We recently deployed some wireless customers, and we are using FreeRadius for LEAP authentication for those clients. FreeRadius dumps core every once in awhile, but we are using a CVS snapshot to get LEAP support, which might have something to do with it. I haven't spent the time to debug it yet. It seems like a very mature product though.
