A question arose from this thread: What if: a) I install a -RELEASE from cd b) do an daily cron'd cvsup of stable sources c) want to rebuild a new kernel d) don't want to do a full make world The new kernel I build will obviously be of -STABLE, yet userland will still be -RELEASE installed from cd. Is it best to cvsup only if you're prepared to do a full `make world` and `make kernel` at the same time to keep userland and kernel both in sync? Will I run into problems running a -STABLE kernel with -RELEASE userland binaries and libraries? At 12:45 AM 3/6/2001 -0800, Dima Dorfman wrote: >"Alexandr A.
