And I use ath-based MiniPCI cards on the Soekris and ath seems to be the best choice for wireless in FreeBSD, all thanks to great work by Sam. I should mention that it's nearly impossible to troubleshoot this without additional information (athdebug, athstats, etc...). Sadly I have not had time to debug my setup either... Yuri
