I have PAL, with a cable connection in luxembourg.
I've only make these changes with cxm_controller:
input source: tuner
channel type: cable

Do I have to configure something else?

>Output of file -s /dev/cxm0 reports something like this?
>/dev/cxm0: MPEG system stream data
>if not, something is no configured.

"file -s /dev/cxm0" gives this:
dda@home:~$ file -s /dev/cxm0
/dev/cxm0: ERROR: cannot read `/dev/cxm0' (Device not configured)

and gives this error in dmesg:
May 11 22:08:44 home kernel: cxm0: video decoder isn't locked
May 11 22:09:54 home kernel: cxm0: video decoder isn't locked

>Please sendme dmseg -a |grep cxm for more information.

Dmesg gives this:
cxm0: <Conexant iTVC15 MPEG Coder> mem 0xe8000000-0xebffffff irq 18 at device 10.0 on pci0
cxm0: <HAUPPAGE PVR350 Ver.1>
