Fresh installation of 6.0. I've tried both mysql3 and mysql41 in the current ports tree. The mysqld daemon starts then aborts. The error log shows that "./mysql/host.frm" can't be found. I've looked at both safe_mysqld and mysqld_safe. They seem to expect the wrong directory structure for FreeBSD. I have the host.frm file, but in /var/db/mysql/mysql/. mysqld is in /usr/local/libexec/ and there is no ./mysql/host.frm there. Is anyone using 6.0 with a recent build of MySQL 3x or 41 from ports? If so, how are you starting the daemon? Anyone else have this problem? __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
