Hi, I'm having problems booting a recently installed system. It reaches the: F1: FreeBSD F5: Disk 2 Hitting F1 results in a beep and nothing. If I toggle through the next disk option. (I've got four SCSI disks) then I somehow get a prompt that I can type: 0:(a,1) and the system will boot OK. I've looked through the boot0cfg, fdisk & loader manuals, but could not find anything helpfull with regards to the beep and no action. Using FreeBSD 4.4-RELEASE. If I install the MBR option using /stand/sysinstall then I get OPERATING SYSTEM NOT FOUND reported by the BIOS. Whats the best way to diagnose this problem? What information is required? Thanks..
