Agreed, burncd works fine for burning a CD on an ATAPI device. However, burncd doesn't seem to handle burning DVDs nearly as well, and many people prefer to use a graphic front end like k3b which talks to dvd+rw-tools even when they are burning CD-ROMs... -- -Chuck
