Actually, 5 buttons if you count the wheel. Button 2 is pressing the
wheel, buttons 4 and 5 are rotating the wheel. Configure X with:
option "Buttons" "5"
option "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"

Not all apps support the wheel, but most newer ones do.
