Howdy, There are a lot of interesting things in the /usr/share/doc directory, however, their origins and use are mostly lost in antiquity. I think an interesting project for a person or group would be to research what those things all are, and how to use them. Then, create /usr/share/doc/README with brief descriptions, and perhaps a pointer to the handbook/faq where more details could be found. Anyone interested?
