Hi there, I've configured the kernel to be able to handle about 35 concurrent users and have also configured 50 pty's in the kernel config file. I've compiled and installed this new kernel and made the necesary entries in /dev using mknod. Still I have problems with "no more pty's" after 22 concurrent logins. FreeBSD 2.0.5-RELEASE, 486DX2/66, 16 megs ram, 100 megs swap on sd0s1b. The console isnt used at all, thus no X server. -- _ __ ' ) ) / /--' ____/___o __ / \_(_) /_) (__/) )_ (BeamJack@IRC) "The soundest fact may fail or prevail in the style of its telling" (Ursula LeGuin) Standard Disclaimer: Only my ideas are expressed here unless it is expressly noted that they are other peoples ideas.
