Hi Nate:

Thanks for your message.  I actually don't own the box, but I think it's a
Pentium II.  The guy who installed FreeBSD at first did not install the
compatiblity package, so after I first installed JRE and also JDK 1.1.7, I got
the /usr/libexec/ld.so missing message.  He then added the compatibility
package which puts in /usr/libexec/ld.so.  Now when I try to run either jdk or
jre, I get "Floating point exception" and it cores.  Any thoughts or
suggestions...
