I'm running 3.0-19980923-BETA. It's was installed from scratch, not
the upgrade from older version. I have in /etc/make.conf:
CFLAGS= -O -pipe
NOPROFILE= true
USA_RESIDENT= NO
I think I don't make any special tweaks.
I tried to compile by:
make clean
make
make
