Thanks for the detailed explaination:
This suggests that ports require a tag similar to sources, but section
A.7 of the FreeBSD handbook states:
Note: The ports tree does not have any tag associated with it,
it is always CURRENT.
Where do I specify which branch to use for my ports/packages?
