Hi,

I am running FreeBSD 6.0-BETA3 on a Athlon 3200+. I have on-board
a nVidia nForce4 sound card as follows:

$dmesg | grep pcm
pcm0: <nVidia nForce4> port 0xdc00-0xdcff,0xe000-0xe0ff
      mem 0xd2103000-0xd2103fff irq 23 at device 4.0 on pci0
pcm0: [GIANT-LOCKED]
pcm0: <Avance Logic ALC655 AC97 Codec>

$ cat /dev/sndstat
FreeBSD Audio Driver (newpcm)
Installed devices:
pcm0: <nVidia nForce4> at io 0xdc00, 0xe000 irq 23 bufsz 16384
      kld snd_ich (1p/1r/0v channels duplex default)

Problem is that I get no sound out of it! Any ideas?
I am willing to test any patches or to provide further info.

thanks
marco
