I compiled the FreeBSD 2.2.6-BETA #1 last night and on boot it displayed:

	changing root device to wd0s2a

The correct root device is wd0s1a.

The /etc/fstab file specifies wd0s1a and there are no complaints from
mount.  df and mount both report the correct device name.

The sources were downloaded with cvsup ending at 19:43 CST March 13.
