There are many more powerful strains of radius than the Ascend radius, but it's perfectly acceptable. However, if you provide dialup internet service, radius is the single most important service you run. So, given the simplicity of Ascend radius (contrasted to Radiator, which can do nearly anything possible), it would be worth two hours to learn the ins and outs to prevent serious problems down the road. Just a suggestion...
