Now I know why I don't read usenet more.  Between this and the recent
OpenBSD flame fest and some other portmapper bug flame fests that have
spilled into the lists that I read, I barely have enough time to keep
up as it is.

I have the benchmark code, but lack the insight (which John Dyson has
provided) to properly understand the correct nitch that lmbench
belongs to.
